Should we drive a tall camper vehicle between Canberra sights?

We have less than a day, are staying at the showgrounds and want the War Memorial and Parliament House, but our four-wheel drive has a high roof rack and cannot enter low garages.

    Map the two attractions and check current surface-parking options and height limits before driving. Do not assume a free tourist shuttle from an old forum discussion still operates.
