What should I prioritise on a short first visit to Canberra?

Group stops by location and opening hours. Parliament House, the lake and the National Triangle can make sense together, but check tours and security arrangements before fixing a tight schedule.

Choose one major institution to explore properly, then add a lake or city walk and a meal. The galleries and museums deserve more time than a photo stop.
