How can I visit the Botanic Gardens if I cannot walk far?

I will stay in central Canberra and want to visit the Australian National Botanic Gardens, but an injury makes a long walk from a bus stop difficult. What is a practical way to arrive?

    If an aid would help, the Gardens say visitors can book a wheelchair or electric mobility scooter without charge, subject to availability. Contact the Visitor Centre ahead of time to confirm what suits your needs.
